I am selling the finest example of a Triumph Thruxton you will find. I purchased the bike new and then put many thousands of dollars (more than I want to think about) to have it customized for a look and sound like no other: Gloss black powdercoated engine and frame parts, gloss red powdercoated brke calipers, Rizoni brake reservoir, standard handlebar modification (replacing the clip-ons and are so much more comfortable to ride); Staintune exhaust, custom headlamp, brake and tail lights, forks modified with Progressive springs and cartridge emulators, Wilber external reservoir rear shocks, brand new Pirelli Sport Demon tires and new gel battery. The black and "checker flag" paint scheme is unique to 2004 and no other Thruxton has the same amount of detailing of this bike. The bike looks, handles and sounds great and is comfortable to ride with the standard handle bar modification (especially important if you are over 50 like me). This Thruxton has been babied having never been ridden in the rain and always covered in the garage. I am selling it because I moved to a smaller house with a smaller garage and I'm selling motorcycles and other toys to make room. I have a Triumph cover to go with the bike. The bike has not been laid down and has only a small scratch on the left rear exhaust tip. I have clear title and prefer cash.
