Up for auction is a 1995 Buick Century wagon in dark blue,with the woodgrain vinyl side treatment. I purchased this local car from the elderly non-smoking couple that owned it since 2003 when they bought it with 66K miles. I believe they were the second owners and put less than 30k mile on it in 7 years. It was a second car for them and was registered and running, albeit poorly when I drove it home. The car has a clean light grey cloth interior with all the typical standard features,including, power locks,windows,mirrors,seat,tilt wheel,cruise,delay wipers,AM/FM cassette,rear defog and wiper,V-6 3.1 liter engine and a 4 speed auto trans. Air cond. compressor does not come on but it is the cheap and easy R-134 refrigerant and probably just needs a charge. Antilock brakes and driver airbag as well. It also has the very desirable roof rack, and rear-facing folding third row seats. It was running lousy, so I bought it planning to fix and drive as I am an auto tech. The poor running engine was due to a major ignition skip,so I replaced the spark plug wire set and plugs and she runs nice now. Still a very slite ruff idle/hesitation at times,feels like a dirty injector. Fresh fuel and some professional grade BG fuel injection cleaner is definately helping and I am going to install a new fuel filter soon. I have driven it around the local back streets somewhat and everything works as best as I can tell,but no reg. or ins. preclude me from making a more in depth road evaluation. As such,this vehicle is sold as is where is. Hatches all stay up,defog grid is good,all windows,locks,seats,radio etc working well. No "check engine,airbag,or antilock" lights on. I idled it over 2 hours to confirm no overheating and cooling fan operation. Newer battery,tires are approx 50%. Very nice paint and woodgrain with only a few dings here and there, typical of an in-town car. No signs of repaint or collision anywhere. I have clean and clear Connecticut title to this vehicle. Cant bring myself to drive a woody wagon so I am selling it. I have many other pictures and am online daily so please ask questions promptly and I will answer as best I can.
