Vehicle Detail
This is a 1965 Ford Mustang 2 door hardtop. This would make a good restoration project. The car in complete and in running condition. The car has power steering and power brakes which are not easy to find in this year model. The car has a six cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission. The power steering works well but the brakes tend to grab. The seats are in pretty good condition. There is no headliner in this car. Engine needs a new exhaust manifold gasket. Drivers's side floor panel needs replacing. Rust places typical of a car this age but is certainly repairable. This vehicle is available for inspection and test driving. Sold as is with a bill of sale only. Mileage is unknown since the speedometer does not function all the time. The VIN is 5F07T752250, Body 65A, Color (original) R, Trim D6, Date 08T, DSO 55, Axle 3, Trans 1. All glass is in tack and in good condition. A couple of 1/2" defects in windshield. Car has air conditioning but it does not work. Has mustang radio with cassette player. Previous owner did a really cheap paint job just to protect the car. Again, I think this car would be a great project for restoration. It drives good with no weaving. New starter. All gauges work with the exception of the speedometer and it works some of the time. $1000 by paypall at close of auction with balance in cash within 7 days. On Nov-25-10 at 09:31:06 PST, seller added the following information: I added several pictures showing the bottom side of the car and the trunk. The worst area in the drivers side floor panel as described above. The frame rails are solid where the rear springs attach. A few small areas of rust through in the trunk. In some of the pictures, you will see some of the undercoating flaking off but the body is solid under this.
