Ready to save the planet? How about some serious gas money? This car has served me well for 10 years - I am the original owner. This car was garage-kept and had all customary maintenance performed at regular intervals. This car is smoke free. Complete maintenance records available. Replaced tires 2/4/09, spark plugs 12/3/09, splash shields 6/12/10, front brake pads AND rotors 10/8/10. Nickel-hydride IMA battery pack and control module replaced 11/23/09. All recall work done at dealership (records available). The door seals leak water into the area of the seatbelts when it rains. I never had success getting the dealer to replace them while under warranty. Wet seatbelts can be avoided by extending them when you leave the car outside in the rain. There is no moldy smell so the water must not stay in the car. The cover for the driver's vanity mirror won't stay up. There is a tiny hole in the headliner right above the driver - about the size of a caraway seed. The car is clean and looks good, other than some chips in the paint mainly on the hood, and a little cloudiness/yellowing of the right headlight lens. Carpet is slightly worn in the rear. There are no broken parts or dents. All accessories work. Super floor mats included. One problem common to Insights of this era is that the car sometimes "bucks" when at the upper RPM range of most gears and minimal pressure on the accelerator. This can be rectified by careful driving/gear choice. The clutch is fine, although it has never been replaced (I am a very conservative driver). In fact, in most applications (with the new battery and ECM), it drives like new.
