My 1968 Mustang convertible: GREAT for driving & local shows. Good paint (Sunlit Gold), good interior (Deluxe Nugget Gold), good Black power top (new rear windw), new dash panels (Woodgrain), new carpet (Gold), original seat upholstery (no tears/splits), HumpHugger console. Paint is an older repaint (original color) and shines up nicely. Good floorpans, good cowls. One spot of rust on the RF fender (about the size of a dime). New (o'hauled) 302 with Edelbrock intake & 600CFM carburetor w/electric choke, Pertronix ignition. New radiator, hoses, thermostat. ALL hoses & rigid lines are new (P/S, brakes, fuel). New Michelin 205X75 WW tires. New brakes. All front suspension (UCA, LCA, Ball Joints, Strut Rods & Bushings, Tie Rods, Coil Springs, KYB Shock absorbers) replaced, and professionally aligned. New dual exhaust (nice tone-not loud) with custom tips/valance. When I bought the car a few years ago from an estate sale, it was in pretty nice original condition. I upgraded the engine & suspension due to them just being tired after 100K miles. Also I figured that after 40 years the hoses & rigid lines should be replaced as a precautionary measure. I went over the car from front to back- replacing & upgrading everything that needed to be done, and upgrading things for my own personal taste. Hence, the Deluxe interior, dual exhaust, and tires. I also added a 'MiniTach' in place of the clock. I have an extensive list of parts (too lengthy to list here) that I have changed/replaced/upgraded to make this Mustang pleasurable to own, drive, and show.
