You are bidding on a 1973 Datsun 1200 4spd 4cyl. The car has had 1 owner from Long Beach Ca. It does have airconditioning which is extremely rare all hookups are there except for the compressor is missing. The interior is decent headliner is up and intact seats are in great shape except of the drivers seat has a few rips carpet is pretty worn. The body is straight and does have rust in the usual spots like the fenders behind the front wheel well and a bit on the trunk area. The floor boards are solid and trunk is solid and clean. Everything is original and it doesnt look like its ever been in a accident. The car has been sitting for a while I poured gasoline in the carb and cranked the key car fired right up but then sputtered out and died. Tried it again and it fired right up again. Thats the extent of what i know about the engine. No knocking or funny noises that i heard during the check. These cars are getting harder to find. On Nov-20-10 at 10:15:52 PST, seller added the following information: Please, by no means am I auctioning this car off as a mint showroom ready to drive turnkey 5000 mile car. The car has been sitting and needs to be tuned up a bit and brakes need to be gone through . The rust is all on the facial part of the fenders and rocker panels theres NO rust on the pan or the door jambs and or in the trunk. The car is very solid.
