1970 Oldsmobile 442 Pace Car Convertible I recently purchased an entire private collection of vehicles from an estate and in it were a variety of Pace Cars, including this 442. This is 1 of 268 produced Y74 442 Pace Car Converibles. The car was purchased by the previous owner in 1998. From what I can tell, it was in the middle of a restoration when he purchased it. It came from Florida, but was a Georgia car before that. We haven't even attempted to run this car, we've just been overwhelmed with some of the other cars we've purchased. There are some receipts from 1997 when the motor was rebuilt and it looks too fresh to have had too many miles put on since then. The body on this car is good and the interior is original (see photos). We've put a low reserve on this car, simply because we are out of room and don't have the space to complete the restoration.
