Up for auction is a very nice 1929 Model A Closed Cab Pickup Truck. The truck is owned by the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania, a non-profit Museum dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of transportation history. It was donated to the Museum several years ago and has spent time on exhibition. It was professionally restored by nationally-known Hibernia Restorations, Hibernia, New Jersey. The total investment in this vehicle was close to six figures. While the restoration took place several years ago, the truck has been properly maintained. It has also logged less than 500 miles since the restoration. It does show several cosmetic imperfections but it is a very sound vehicle and will make an excellent driver that could be easily and inexpensively brought back to top show condition. The truck starts easily, runs well and shifts and drives as it should. Included with the sale is the Ford manual shown in the interior photos. It is now offered to the highest bidder with a reasonable opening bid and no reserve. All proceeds benefit the Museum. The truck is not for sale outside of eBay and the auction will not be ended early. The truck is accurately represented in the photographs, but interested parties are encouraged to ask questions and/or schedule a personal inspection. This vehicle is offered as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. It has a valid Pennsylvania title which will be transferred to the new owner upon successful completion of the transaction. Shipping and transportation of the Model A will be the responsibility of the new owner. We will gladly work with you or the shipper/transporter of your choice to coordinate the move. The new owner will have two weeks from the completion of the auction to pick up the vehicle unless other arrangements are made in advance. The car is located at the AACA Museum, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA 17033. Payment may be in the form of cash, money order, cashier’s check or PayPal (with all fees paid by the purchaser).
