Vehicle Detail
This auction is for my Low Mileage (74,000miles) 1995 Factory Twin Turbo 6-Speed White Toyota Supra. This is 1 of only 97 white TT 6speed cars for this year and 1 of less then 3,800 Twin turbo 6speed cars ever produced. (RARE CAR) The car is being sold as a rolling chassis with only a short parts list to be a complete car again. Exterior: As you can see from the pictures, the exterior of the car is in really great shape with only minor dings and no dents noted anywhere. The only visible paint damage is shown in the pictures (bottom of drivers door, and minor ding below the drivers side rear side marker light. I purchased a brand new front bumper from my local Toyota dealership ($497), which is included. Even though it doesn’t show in the pictures, the rear bumper could use repainted as well. Its starting to show its age. On a positive note, the car comes already updated with factory 98 style front headlights and taillights (gray background color). Even though the pictures don’t show them, I am included a used set of factory 98(clear) front turn signals. Drivers side wheels are missing center caps. Other then that the exterior of the car is complete with no missing parts…that’s good news and less work for you. Interior: The interior is in good shape overall. The pictures speak for themselves. The good: The front door panels, dash, center console are all in great shape. The bad: Some of the interior plastics have some minor scratches on them. (normal for a car of this age) The rear seat bottom cushion has a minor scuff in the center section. This is just a scuff, not a rip or tare! Front seats came out of a 98 model Supra. That being said, the previous owner of the car decided it would be a good idea to store some heavy items in the front seats which caused the damage (indentations in the leather). The interior is complete other then the missing plastic dash panels that go around the gauge cluster/radio/shifter area and the switch to control the power mirrors(mounts on one of the panels). You can find these on eBay or Supraforums.com for a decent price, or what I was going to do is buy them all directly from the dealer to give it a cleaner/newer/fresher look. Only other things interior is missing is the trunk carpet and the plastics that cover the front seat rails/switches. I never purchased these because I was going to replace the seats with racing seats anyways. The targa top goes in and comes out with no problems whatsoever. (no stripped bolts or threads). Only other thing I can thing of is, if you look at the gauge cluster you will notice it is out of an automatic TT car. Only difference with this is it has the markings for the auto tranny on it. If you don’t like this its as easy as removing the cluster, taking out the old Tach, and replacing it with one out of a manual car. I can put you in contact with someone that has one for sale for $60.…(cheap fix) Drive train/Engine Bay Related Items: As stated in the first paragraph, this car is being sold as a rolling chassis. The vehicle is missing Engine/Engine Wiring harness/Transmission/Driveshaft. Usually if you buy the engine/transmission together here on eBay, they come with wiring harness/ac compressor/alternator/etc so you’d have pretty much everything else the car is missing in this department as well. The car does come with the factory TT 6 speed ECU. The car includes a freshly rebuild Twin Turbo 6 speed rear Differential installed as well as rear axles and all new mounting hardware. This Diff unit was rebuilt at Titan Motorsports in FL (give them a call and get a price quote so you know how much this service costs to perform). Basically everything inside of the pumpkin is brand new Factory Toyota Parts. This includes a brand new rear diff cover that I paid $200 for/lsd diff unit/new bearings/seals/etc. Also included is Titan motorsports solid billet aluminum front differential mounts. ($200) Only other thing I can think of you’ll need that the car is missing is the fuel pump hanger/pump assembly.(see trunk picture) This was missing from the car when I bought it and I didn’t want to buy one until I figured out what I was going to do with the car. As you can see in the pictures, I spent about 3 hours detailing out the engine bay on this car. Its super clean and is ready for a engine to be lowered in. Included with car is a brand new factory replacement radiator (another brand new part and one less thing you’ll have to worry about). The car is missing the ABS actuator unit. (mounts behind the passenger side shock tower. I have seen these sell on Supraforums.com for as low as $50, so its not a big thing. As you can see in the pictures, I have removed the brake lines that run along the firewall. Instead of buying the ABS piece I was missing, I was just going to do an ABS delete on the car to not only clean up the looks of the engine bay, but to also shave some weight off the car. There are a few write-ups on supraforums about how to do this and parts needed to complete this task. Even though the factory brake lines aren’t in the pictures, I will included them with the purchase of the vehicle in case you want to reinstall them and run ABS on the car. Speaking of ABS, I will tell you about the brakes. The vehicle comes with N/A rear brakes. Again, I chose these because they have a weight savings advantage over the TT brakes as well as let you run a smaller wheel in the back so you can run different offset/size drag wheel packages. These n/a brakes, even though smaller still have plenty of stopping power for this vehicle. The car comes with no front rotors or brake calipers. These were missing from the car when I purchased it, and just never got around to buying them yet. Napa or any auto parts depot sells these for a fraction of the costs of the factory units. Above is the description of the car. To the best of my knowledge, I have disclosed all problems and missing items from the car. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will help you out the best I can. This is a gorgeous car and they are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. I just checked on kbb.com and the car with the low miles on the chassis and the Twin turbo/6speed options, still books for over $30,000. I will also tell you this, the blue book on this car actually went up close to $2,000 this year alone. As the years go on, and these cars become more and more rare, their prices are only going to go up. Here is your chance to own a $30,000 for a lot less. The car is listed at a more than fair price. I am currently paying a loan on this vehicle. That being said, the bank currently holds the title. Being that this is a non running car, this really shouldn’t be an issue for anyone bidding. I’ve already talked to my credit union and they said there is a 10 day hold on the release of the title once I pay the loan off. Bid with confidence and as soon as they send me the title I will UPS next day air it to you the same day I get it. Again, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to send me a message. Before anyone asks, NO I will not end auction early to sell outside of eBay. This is for your safety as well as mine. There will need to be a $500 non refundable deposit made via Paypal within 48hours of the end of auction. Full payment of the remaining balance must be paid within 7 days of end of auction unless other arrangements have been made with me. Please have all finances arranged before you bid. Some banks will not loan money on cars of this age, However there are still banks and credit unions that WILL loan on these cars just because of how much these vehicles still book/sell for. I know in my case, the lady at my credit union couldn’t believe how much these cars were still selling for. She got upset because she just bought a new car last year and the book value dropped $5,000 where as the pricing on this supra went up $2,000. I will not be responsible for the contacting and making arrangements of the shipping of this vehicle. That is the responsibility of the purchaser. Thanks for looking everyone, and happy bidding. EDIT: Autocheck shows vehicle was in a minor accident. I was told one of the previous owners was rearended at a slow speed. I believe only thing that was done to fix car was rear bumper was repainted. I've had the rear bumper off the car and to my knowledge it still had the factory installed bumper and crash bar with VIN tags still attached. If someone is really interested in the car, i will pull it back off and take pictures of VIN tags. I just wanted to add this info so no one would be scared away by seeing the report. thankgs again, and happy bidding. Eric
