Ladies and Gentlemen, What we have here is a beautiful 1979 18k original miles Pontiac Trans-Am. This car is not only clean but slightly customized to bring it into the year 2010, but to not loose the originality, the beauty and style of the 1979 Trans-am. What makes this car stand out from the others is not only is it an original 18k mile car, but all of the body panels are original and the interior is all original. This has the original 15x8 snowflake wheels, original brake, and fuel lines, and believe it or not it still has the original rotors on the car. This car is a four wheel disc car. This car has the original expanding spare tire that has never seen the road, original jack and and hardware. This car also has the original owners manual as well. This car still has the original exhaust on it minus the glasspack to take place of the original catalytic convertor which we still have but it was deteriorating inside so we removed it. The engine is the oldsmobile 6.6/403 C.I. Engine which purrs like a kitten and still produces some pretty great power which is all planted through the turbo 350 trans and original Posi rear differential. All of the front end steering and suspension on this car is original minus the four new shocks on it. The originals were dry rotted and leaking. Now for the fun details First off all of the fluids have been changed and inspected. All are new and fresh. No engine leaks no smoking, no knocks or noises of any kind. The original paint was the solar gold. I went with a 79 G.M. Blue metallic which works perfect adding a custom mix of silver metal flakes in it to make it shine that much more. Covering the car in perfect form is a custom made Platinum Edition Bird Package, Very similar to and S.E. package but as you can see a custom styled Hood Bird and Sail Panel Birds and Custom color in silver and Black. Calling out the name of the Trans-Am is the German styled lettering Trans-Am and 6.6 Hood shaker decals. There was two rust holes on this car and i mean both were the size of a quarter. One under the left front foot well, that was patched properly and one hole on the right rear lower valance were the bumper meets the body. Thats all that was on this car. It was taken down to bare metal every panel was removed, the front and rear windshields were removed also the front and rear bumpers. They all were properly prepped, smoothed were needed and painted with a ppg paint. What puts this car over the edge are the details added to this car. New items include all new weatherstripping everywere including the t-tops. Brand new projector headlamps. Custom tinted rear tailight panel, and marker lights it gives the car a slightly updated look but still looks hot when you turn on the lights. New carpet is in the car, new door handles, new door handle bezels, new windshield, "I broke the original one when i was removing it" also brand new calipers and brake pads all the way around. The tires on this car are like new. and still look great. The original AC Delco radio did not work so i installed a new head unit that you can either listen to the radio, plug in your I-Pod, or a S.D. Card. and listen to your tunes on the brand new 6x9 rear deck speakers. And no the rear shelf was not hacked. And i did not want to install a silly sound system in the car that never was meant to be there in the first place. Bottom line this car is beautiful, rust free, fun, fast and sexy! Hell it's a TRANS-AM! I hope you enjoy this car as much as i have and give her a great home to take out on some cruise nights, or car shows, or just crank up the Disco tunes and pull the t-tops off and let the wind in your hair!. There are so many small details on this car that you will never be able to see in the pictures. This car was built right and built with care, taste and style in mind. Not thrown together in a month but overall restoration took over 5 months.
