Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a beautiful example of a1984 Buick LeSabre Limited 4-door sedan with a 307 V8 4-bbl (5.0 liter), auto, and all power options. All accessories are operational, except for the power antenna and cruise control (needs new servo). The A/C was recently refurbished and charged with R-12. It works very well. This car is a true survivor that has been well cared for throughout its life. It currently has just under 124,000 miles and is a very clean, solid, non-smoker's car with excellent chrome and stainless trim inside and out. The original cream-colored paint still shines, interior is in excellent, clean condition with no rips in the upholstery and a good headliner. There are some small surface rust spots on the Left Front fender (photo), trunk lid, and bottom door edges. There is no rust-through (rot) anywhere. The undercarriage is excellent. The vinyl top is in decent shape, with no cracks, but some of the plastic trim is missing on the sail panel edges (see photo). Since purchasing this car, I have replaced the following items: Complete main exhaust system, including catalytic converter (4) tires, less than 4k miles A/C compressor, accumulator, orifice Carburetor - rebuilt electronic q-jet Valve cover gaskets Ignition wires Spark plugs - with Platinum-tipped Autolite Radiator (3-row core), coolant also flushed at this time Thermostat Wiper motor Belts Hoses Rear bumper fillers Brake pads, shoes and hardware, rear drums When I purchased the car, the previous owners had done the following: New battery Rebuilt transmission New tie rod ends Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with new speakers Fan clutch Distributor cap and rotor The LeSabre is a very comfortable, reliable, smooth riding car, which manages a respectable 17 - 21 mpg in mixed and highway driving. It runs on 87 octane fuel and has a smooth, quiet, responsive V8 engine. It is super comfortable on long drives with its pillow-type crushed velour seating. The only item requiring attention at this time is the engine front cover seal. It drips some oil, but not a large amount. It loses about a quart of oil per 1,000 miles and does not appear to be burning any. Compression is close to 160 psig in all cylinders. I drive it frequently and it always performs beautifully. I currently have several other cars and need to thin the herd a bit. Please email with questions. Good luck and thanks for looking. On Nov-16-10 at 18:45:12 PST, seller added the following information: Bidders with a feedback score of less than 5 must contact me prior to bidding.
