NO RESERVE!!! Be ready for winter with a 4-wheel drive BMW! This is a fun car to drive, and it is great in snow. I've gone through 8-10 inches of snow with no problems... I believe that this car will give the new owner many years of service. The good: it runs well, the transmission has only 7-8K miles on it, AM-FM/cassette, 6-CD changer (in trunk), and leather seats (with working seat warmers). The interior is in very nice condition. The plugs and brakes are also new. There are a few things that need attention, however. The muffler needs replacement. The air conditioning system blew a hose years ago, and since I live in Michigan, I never replaced it. The front end also needs a little work, as there is a slight wobble above 50 mph. The body is not rust-free---there are small trouble spots in front of each rear wheel. In addition, the previous owner blacked out the airbag warning light because it is constantly on---I don't know whether the sensor is bad or the airbag itself. The front brake sensors are missing, so the brake warning light is also always on. The wheels shown in the pictures are Konig Reasons, and they DO go with the car. The high bidder will have first chance to buy a full set of original BMW basketweave wheels for $250 (one of these is bent, one is in very good shape, and two are in fair to good condition). An almost-new gas tank ($500 new) also goes with car---I kept this when I parted my son's 89 325ix because I think the vent tube is plugged in this one. I have tried to represent the car as accurately as possible (check my feedback)---please email with any questions. On Nov-13-10 at 13:52:36 PST, seller added the following information: Added 11/13: My memory was wrong on the mileage---it is actually about 165,000. Also forgot to mention that the engine oil and coolant lights are on, but I have found nothing wrong in either case, so I believe that it's the sensors. The car runs cool, and has never been over halfway on the temp gauge. I checked the oil immediately when the light first came on, and it was full and clean. I checked everything over and found no problems, so I kept driving and have now put several thousand miles on the car with the oil light on---I am no longer worried about it. Finally, I looked at the exhaust today, and it's pretty rusted out---I would figure on replacing the entire system from the engine back. Again, it is not a perfect problem-free car; please email with questions or call 616-283-0692.
