1956 AUSTIN HEALEY 100M LeMans BN2 This is a car that will not disappoint you in looks, engine and all around fun to drive! The Austin Healey is an absolute classic British sports car. BN 2 came with four speed gearbox with overdrive as standard equipment. The LeMans 100M variation of the BN2 increased the engine power from 90 bhp to 110 bhp. Look at the pictures of this car, it shows you what an outstanding car this is! All the Numbers Match and we have The British Motors Heritage Trust Certificate that shows the Factory record. The restoration was completed in 3 years with the vision becoming a reality. This was a total paint stripped down to the bare steel or aluminum body, with it repaired to perfect condition. Then a beautiful professional high end paint job, with the Original Old English White with Black coves. The finish was hand rubbed and polished to the highest standards. Interior is new but finished to the correct leather seating design in proper period style of Black seats with White piping. New Black carpet on the floor. Convertible top is New Black Vinyl material with the original side curtains, also for another look use the Tonneau cover. Louvre’s in the bonnet and leather bonnet strap makes heads turn to look at the car. The car has the Original folding windshield (this really changes the look of the car) when down it is what a race car should look like. The engine was removed from the body. It was fully disassembled and rebuilt by a classic Healey car engine specialist, Leo Ruof. Leo also installed the engine back into the car. This engine has less then 100 miles on it so it is new! This is what Leo did to the engine and transmission: New parts as follow; High Compression M Spec. piston, M Spec. Camshaft, Lifters, all New Bearings -Gasket-O Rings and Seals, complete valve job w/ New guides,Org. 100M intact Manifold and Carbs, the Correct X destination, Cold Air box w/ K-N Air Cleaners, New Synchronization and Lay Shaft, New Clutch-Pressure Plate-Piston Rings. New Aluminum Valve Cover makes the engine have a WOW factor. New Stainless Steel Exhaust system, plus New Brake system, the fuel system had all lines replaced from gas tank forward. New tires and Chrome Wire Wheels the spare tire has a painted wire wheel. New Accumulator Housing with a Rebuilt Overdrive plus a rebuilt Distributor and Transmission, also the radiator was boiled out. The original Grill was re-chromed and it has the new vintage competition seatbelts with the quick release buckle which the design has remain unchanged since the 1950’s. The car has Fog and Driving Lights which you can see in the pictures. This is a sensational car to drive or just sit back and look at it. WHAT A CAR!!!
