For sale is an all steel 1931 Plymouth 3-window coupe hot rod. It is powered by a 1983 Buick 231 V6 engine with a Performer manifold and four barrel carburetor. It is mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and 7 bolt Dana rear end. This car was purchased by me in 1996 and has been licensed and registered every year. The body and driveline is as I purchased it. The body is all steel with some minor dings and dents. There is no rust at the bottom of the doors or the cowl shell. The only rust that existed at all is in the tail pan and it was repaired by the previous owner. With this exception, this is a very solid rust free car. This car looks good as it is but with minor body work and paint it will look great. I have tried to show the areas that need the body work in the pictures. The interior of this car is very clean with no rips or tears and has new smoked glass throughout. I had planned on keeping this car forever so I kept a notebook of all the parts I purchased for the car so that any replacement parts would be easy to identify and repair if needed. I also purchased a parts car that was a hot rod in progress for spare parts. Unfortunately, I decided to build the parts car into a more radical hot rod than this one and more radical became more expensive. Since I can only drive one car at a time and I am way past the point of no return on the parts car I have decided to sell this one.
