Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1976 Plymouth Fury 2 door hardtop. It has the 318 V-8 and 2 barrel carb and 727 Torque flight transmission. This car has been in Arizona all its life. The mileage is a low 95600 miles which is only 2800 a year. The car is a base model but it does have cold A/C and an AM-FM 8 Track. The car does not smoke when running. All electrical items work as they should. It has some minor dents and scratches as you would expect for a 34 year old car. There is some rust under the trunk mat due to a past leak which has been repaired. No rust anywhere else and the underside are solid. As seen in the photo there is a minor crease on the passenger door. The exterior color is the original Golden Fawn. The car runs strong but it may need some carb adjusting. Some of the weather-stripping around the doors could use replacing but useable as is. The tires and brakes are in great shape and it had four new Gabriel shocks installed last April. It also steers straight down the road as some of the front end parts were replaced by a previous owner. Recent oil/filter and air filter but it does have some oil that drips under it. I keep a metal catch pan under it to keep the oil off of my garage floor. It passed the emission check last summer. The interior is in great shape with only one small burn on the bottom drivers’ side seat. All seat belts work as they should. The seat back release buttons are there but need re-mounted. The dash has some cracks on it from the Arizona sun. The windows were dark tinted in the past to protect the interior. Carpeting is usable but faded and no sagging with the headliner. The 75-78 Chrysler Cordoba and Dodge Charger have a lot of interchangeable parts with the Fury. I do have the original owner’s manual packet and a sales brochure all of which are included. I found the build sheet under the rear seat but it was very brittle and crumbled. I did manage to keep most of it intact and laminated what I have. There are two sets of keys included. I invite anyone to come and inspect the car before purchasing. This car is a 20 footer and would either make a good driver or with some TLC a show car. I did take it to a car show once and entered it on the original 70s class. It is not 34 year old new car but I have seen a lot worse for a lot more money. I have a clear box A (original mileage) AZ title in my name and there is no sales tax if sold to Arizona resident. Shipping is buyers’ responsibility but I do have a car trailer and may work out delivery up to 500 miles for a fee. Payment needs to be received within 7 days of auction close and before I will release the vehicle. The vehicle must be removed within 2 weeks of auction close.
