1940 DODGE BUSINESS COUPE Model D14 - Deluxe BARN FIND Heres a Great Rust Free All Steel Classic for you to finish ! I started with this project 3 years ago and have lost interest. I found it in a barn in Central South Dakota. I Have sanded much of the body down to bare metal and primered it. Much is left to do. It has one rust hole the size of a quarter on rear of body and thats it ! This would be a great project for someone to restore, build a Street Rod or Rat Rod. Body is 100% complete except for hood ornament. There is a flathead 6 in the car, not sure if it is stuck or not. There are no wheels or tires (it was on blocks when I purchased it) The dash seems to be complete but there is no seat. There is some rust on floor on drivers side and some in trunk. This is a very straight car with the usual dings and scratches. The worst would be passenger side rear fender. see photos for more details. The frame is very solid with no weak spots and no rust through. There is no seat. Car has no radio or antenna , but did have originally. There is no bondo in this body, what is primered was sanded to bare metal and primed, no bodywork was done.
