Up for auction is one sweet little 47 dodge half ton wc - ser’s pickup. I bought this jewel five years ago from a gentleman who’s name is John in Ohio. The story behind the truck is that him and his wife use to date in a 47 dodge with red and black fenders, which was the art deco style colors that was the popular color on these trucks, so he sets out to find one and runs up on this one around the mid 70& it needed to be restored. It was a rust free truck the only thing missing was the tail gate. So he buys it and brings it home to start the restore job. He takes the truck all the way down to the frame there was nothing left on it. This was a ground up restoration. He said there was no dents or rust on the truck, it was straight you can tell this truck was not a patch job. He and his family and a neighbor were standing in the yard when he told my wife and me about the truck, how he had the whole truck media blasted and started putting it back together. He worked a job and would come home and work on the truck. This truck has not seen any weather for 30 yrs. Driving this truck is a head turner. The bed on this truck is red oak ,new tires , new battery. The gauges all work and is turn key ready. 2400 actual miles on truck since being restored. The pictures speak for them self.
