The bike was originally purchased in California on July 19th 1975 and I still hold all original paperwork including original registration. The second owner re-conditioned the bike for a quick profit performing tuning and battery/tires replacement. I took over the bike in May 2009 with the intention to restore it. I have put ~300 miles on the bike since purchase. Bike starts (electric and kick) and runs well. I have restored the carburetors completely (including body) and replaced all jets (main, slow), holder needle jet, valves set float and gaskets; I will include the old jets as part of the sale.I have performed carburetor sync few months back; I would recommend redoing a vacuum sync prior to making it your daily rider (I am including the vacuum sync tool as part of the sale) as these bikes are capricious.The tank has been fully cleaned and restored; gas cap, petcock and fuel lines have been replaced (NOS)Side covers have been restored and repaintedI have replaced air box intake boots, air filter and air box gasket (NOS)I have performed cam chain tension adjustment, timing adjustment and valve clearance adjustment.I have restored completely the master cylinder (NOS parts)Throttle cables have been replaced (NOS)Mirrors have been replaced (NOS) Oil filter replaced, oil changedI have replaced bulbs and blinkers' relay (NOS)The exhausts are good original HM341The seat is original but top has been recovered nicely.There is slight pitting on the chrome (as seen in pictures).Electrical is working. The cylinders cover might have been repainted; there is one spot that is chipped. Also part of the sale are the following NOS parts: Brake Pads, front brake bleeder and bleeder screw, right and left handlebar grips; information and warning sticker sets. I will also include the Clymer and other maintenance bulletins. Overall great condition for this 1975 CB K5; always stored inside climate controlled garage.
