1971 Classic Honda Mini Trial 50. This is a very original survivor in exceptional condition considering being almost 40 years old. Original gas tank and paint with a few untouched up spots. Original engine and drive train. Pretty much everything is as it was, with the possible exception of the tires and seat which I believe are NOS. Starts on the first or second kick. No smoking, or no leaks. No title, it was lost many years ago as many of these were, so will be sold with a bill of sale. Also, under mileage, the ad makes you write down something....in the case of this mini trail it is not applicable because no mileage odometers are present. Pretty neat little bike. I am a collector of many things reliving my childhood, and now need to free up some space. (Also will be selling my original old orange crate for the same reason.) My personal policy is that I only collect what I am not afraid of being stuck with, and I am only interested in original unrestored items. I am not an expert on mini trails, I just always wanted one similar to this when I was young, and so basically just look at it. Most of these classic old bikes (and cars) have been restored, and in my opinion are a dime a dozen,...but they are only original once! Serious inquiries can call 417-368-2380. I do not want to misrepresent the condition of this minibike, and I apologize for having unintentionally done so! It was, and is, my intention to honestly represent the condition this minibike to the best of my knowledge. I am adding this information minutes after discovering it. I recently (a few months ago) drained the gas tank for storage in my garage to avoid damaging the carburator. I thought I should put some gas in this evening to make sure everything was running optimally due to this auction. Upon adding the gas to the tank, I discovered it has a small leak about the size of a ink pen head on the bottom left hand side of the gas tank. This just happened, and was not there the last time the bike had gas in it. I have notified the highest bidder by telephone of the situation. It is what it is, I guess I shouldn't be surprised with an unrestored 40 year old minibike. Despite this latest issue, it is still a great little unrestored bike. Sorry for any misinformation, and for the apparently incorrect answer I gave on the posted question.
