Vehicle Detail
This is a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible. The car has a 350 Rocket motor with 98,000 original miles. Full tune up and brake job has been done. Master Cylinder and brake lines replaced recently. The convertible top is in full working condition, however it needs to be replaced as the back glass window was broken. This wasn't an issue for me as I barely ever drove the car with the top up! The passanger door lock mechanism is broken. The motor is a beast and runs fantastic. No issues with this car - very sound mechanically and it wants to be driven! Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left. It has 22" wire rims with spinners . I have done a custom pink suede and velour interior. The seats are original and in good shape. Driver seat has small rip the size of your pinky finger long, the back bench seats are flawless. The carpet has been replaced as well and it is pink too! There is a custom suede convertible boot cover for when the top is down. Looks sharp and clean and brings the interior all together. Also, with the sale of the vehicle I am including the gallon of Omni paint as well. The color I was going to paint the vehicle is Metallic Raspberry. The car is stored in the garage for the winter. The body is straight and needs very little TLC. Minor rust bubbling here and there ( see pics below ). I have another project I would like to focus on and this is just on the back burner for now. I am not selling because I am dumping a problem car or a rust bucket. This car has tons of potential and needs minor body work and then its ready for paint. Again, there are no dings or dents it just needs to be sanded down or sandblasted and painted. The trunk floor panel has a small rust hole easily patched and small "rust" bubbles in a few areas the size of a pinky nail. See below. Super fun car, gets lots of attention and once it is painted it will be stunning! Any convertible this year, this shape and condition is worth it.
