If you are looking for a radical chopped and channeled hot rod, this is not it . This all Henry Ford steel beauty retains all of it's original charm yet the incorporates the little things we expect today. The mild body changes include only the following. Tail lights replaced with 1950 Pontiac lights, Door handles removed and replaced with a remote clicker to open,center windshield bar removed and replaced with a one piece fixed windshield and the vent on the cowl has been removed. No need for the vent when you have air-conditioning. The car has been lowered on to a mustang suspension system and handels like a dream. She will stop on a dime and cruise all day at highway speeds. Don't expect to spin the tires and jump rabbit start as this was built to cruise. the caddy interior is of course very comfortable with great seats and an excellent sound system. Put your coffee or whatever in the cup holder, turn on Roy Oberson, and enjoy. This car looks sounds and runs great. This is a car done over 5 or 6 years ago and always garages with care. Although the front seats are electric and move forward, it's a squeeze to get into the back for someone real big or unsteady. I am 6ft 2 inches and it's ok for me but not for everyone.( I would rather drive anyway) The only other issues to me are the lack of a glove box sacrificed for the air-conditioning unit and the location of the DVD player for play station two. it is under the rear seat, and although accesable, you have to get used to operating it since it is hard to see. I never actually used it more than once or twice with the grand children just for kicks. This car is a real head turner and is being sold for much less than the 32K I paid for it. My car guy said the builder spend at least 50k to build it. I have many of the records of the rebuild including paint code and an old appraisal before the rebuild for much more than the reserve at this auction. this is a must sell as the car bug has bit me again and I bought it's replacement.
