Vehicle Detail
This is a 1979 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger I purchased in 1997. It was in good shape with a very small amount of rust. It was originally an automatic transmission which I replaced with a 4spd from my other Bronco. In doing so all u-joints were replaced, new clutch installed along with steering column and steering wheel. It was originally painted yellow and has since been painted black. I believe truck was originally from Pa.. It was a very reliable truck. It also had extensive front end work and new wheels and tires and completely new brakes (everything). Four years ago I installed new rear leaf springs and custom ordered Pro Comp shocks. It has a new rear glass motor and new windshield wiper washer reservoir and pump and new heater core and blower motor. Radiator was new but now needs re-cored. The original 351M runs and smokes on start-up only. The frame seems to be straight and sound. The body not so much. The front clip is good, rockers are good and I replaced floor with tin awhile ago. This truck can still be a good plow/work truck or used for hunting or as a restoration project. Ive seen Broncos in much worse shape brought back to life. The plow ( Meyers 7' with new guide feet, springs and hardware) was put on 4 years ago and works via an ATV winch. It goes up and down, angles must be changed by hand. I brought it out to sell two months ago and it started and ran fine. All starting components were replaced a few years ago and has not had any major starting problems until a week ago (it has been sitting since last winter). Starter doesn't seem to be engaging. I replaced solenoid but no go. I'm working on this problem currently. This truck is a great toy, but I have three other toys ahead of it and so it must go! Reserve is low. If you want the vehicle without the plow and winch let me know and feel free to ask any questions. Truck is located in Sherburne, NY in central New York state. Feel free to call or come by to look. Please ask before bidding. A $100 dollar payment is required at end of auction. You must arrange for any delivery but I will assist if you pick it up locally. I'm asking $1000.
