This is a 1979 Mercedes 450SL Roadster that I took on trade recently from a 73 year old customer who purchased it from a retired neighbor quite awhile ago. The 450SL is silver with a dark blue leather interior and dark blue canvas top and silver hardtop that has small tear in headliner. I will describe the car as best I can. The paint appears to be all original with no body work and very few chips or blemishes.Leather interior is also original and very nice. With no cracks in dash. Radio has been updated with cd and original comes with car pictured in trunk. Dark blue canvas top is just about perfect. Wire wheels are Dayton with real knockoffs and are perfect. Motor runs very good and could use valve cover gasket on right side at it is leaking some oil.Transmisson shifts smoothly. Mileage is original and corresponds with mileage on title. I checked this car top and underside, and can't find any rust out or rust repairs. This a real nice all original SL.shows a little age but not made over car dressed for the dance.
