Please note: This is not my car. I am listing it for a very close friend who does not do e-bay. The car is located in Germantown, MD and will need to be picked up there. IT IS NOT IN GLEN ROCK, PA. 1998 TOYOTA CAMRY LE 4 DOOR, 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine (DOES NOT RUN) Use for parts or rebuild. Never wrecked. Car served faithfully, ran fine, and was driven daily until the ENGINE SEIZED UP about two weeks ago. They don't know for sure what the problem is (possible rocker arm or cam shaft failure is what the mechanic told them) but I am told the engine will not turn at all. Before the engine died, the A/C blew cold, heater blew hot, power door locks and windows all work. The am-fm & cd- player work, the cassette does NOT. The rest of the car is in good condition for its age. The usual scrapes, parking lot dings and scratches. One of the door armrests has come apart a bit and the right turn signal blinks rapidy, most likely the bulb. Germantown is about midway between the Washington DC Capital Beltway (I-495) and Fredrick, MD (10 minutes off of I-270). A deposit of $150.00 through PayPal will be required within 24 hours of auction's end. Balance is to be paid in cash at time of pick up. This car is being sold AS-IS and WHERE IS. My friend would like the car to be picked up within a week or so of auction's end if possible since it is taking up space in his development's parking lot.
