Vehicle Detail

This is my 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol. ENGINE: This car originally came with a d15 engine in it. It has been swapped out for a built turbo D16Z6/Y8 hybrid. The engine is a D16Z6 block with Eagle rods, SRP pistons and a STR clock guard. The head is a ported and polished D16Y8 and has a Comp cam, Crower springs and retainers, and a SRP adjustable cam. The electronics for it include a chipped GSR ECU setup to run chrome, DSM injectors and a full MSD ignition system. This engine has only 1,250 miles on it. I broke the engine in with a Mitsubishi 14b turbo and cast manifold on the engine. The current turbo kit needs to be completed. I have all of the necessary pieces to complete it. I have all brand new: T4 turbo, equal length stainless steel manifold, 2 intercoolers to choose from, a 2.5 inch stainless steel downpipe, a tial wastegate, Turbo XS RFL blowoff valve, aluminum oil pan with inlet and oil pump and all the aluminum piping, clamps, and connectors. This is everything the car needs to be completed. I just don't have the time. This setup will produce well in excess of 300hp and will be bulletproof. Suspension/Brakes: The chassis of the car has over 100K miles on it.The car has full Progressive coilovers. These can be rebuilt and valved for any way you want them and will never need to be replaced. It also has rull energy suspension polyurenthane bushings, including the trailing arms. In addition it has tower braces in the rear top, front top, and front bottom. It has a willwood 4 piston billet caliper brake kit on the from with aluminum hat rotors and a fastbrakes.com rear big brake kit. This thing stops on a dime! Interior: The car has a full roll cage made of chromoly steel that was built by a SCCA steward. The drivers seat is a full carbon/kevlar Momo seat and the passenger is a Sparco fiberglass. It has an Eclipse deck and Polk Momo components in the front. I will throw in a 12" Momo sub that I never got around to installing. Body: The paint on it is a custom 4 stage House of Colour mix. It is Porsche jet black base, then platinum silver pearl, blue candy and then a few layers of their awesome clear. This is in addition to a full carbon fiber Kaminari hood and fully adjustable carbon fiber wing. I am sure there are many things that I am forgetting so I will try and update as I remember. Shoot me questions and I will answer. This car has been sitting for a couple years so it needs to be run through as any car would after that amount of time. As it is not currently running it is being sold as is. I dare not total all of the money invested in this car but it is safe to say it is well into the tens of thousands. Here are some additional parts that I remembered. -ACT 4 puck clutch with HD pressure plate -Catz Zeta headlight ballasts -JDM Catz Fog lights in the OEM location -Cat-Jack (Looks like a catalytic converter but is a straight pipe) -Greddy Exhaust -Billet battery mount in trunk
