For sale is a beautiful 2001 BMW K1200 LT with only 40878 miles. The bike has ABS, AM/FM Cassette, 6 Disc CD Changer, an adjustable Electric Windshield that can be raised to shield the operator and passenger from the wind. This bike also has Electronic Cruise Control, Heated Grips (2 Temps), 2 Power Outlets (Driver / Pass. for heated suits, etc.), Adjustable Headlight Control (on dash), Dash Map Light and a Vanity Mirror and Light in the rear trunk. The following options have been added: Passenger Arm Rests, Heated Passenger and Driver Seats (awesome in cold weather riding, high and low, nice and toasty), cool Brake Light Modulator (for added visibility and safety), 12V DC plug adapter on dash, J Peg Highway bars (for comfort), Head Light Protector (head light like brand new underneath), and a New Steel Braided lower front Brake Line. The motorcycle has been recently serviced and has only 900 miles on NEW BRIDGESTONE BT020 TIRES (best wet weather tires I could find), 400 miles on NEW SPARK PLUGS, 400 miles on NEW K&N AIR FILTER, 400 miles on NEW FUEL FILTER and NEW TANK FUEL LINES (German ones rot out with USA fuels and rupture with time). NEW OIL and NEW OIL FILTER were just changed and bike has been professionally detailed. The bike runs perfect! Clutch and Brakes are good and the ABS system works fantastic. I love this machine and I am very sad to get rid of her, but life changes are forcing the sale and survival is first. We only pull her out of the garage for minimum 400 mile long trips. Most trips are on average 600-700 miles. She is quick and agile and gives all the Goldwings my wife and I ride alongside a run for their money. Suspension setup on the BMWs is far better than the Hondas. Comfort in all conditions is an understatement. The bike has a couple of very small, shallow, light scratches on each of the saddlebags; but I have the factory touch up paint to cover those. Otherwise the paint is beautiful and flawless. The stereo systems on these bikes are amazing! Loud and crystal clear from the four speakers at 120 MPH! Way better than any Honda. ;) Pictured is my XM satellite setup and this IS NOT INCLUDED. However for an additional outside agreed upon price I will consider including it with a couple months of service.
