You are bidding on a 1963 Ford Ranchero which has been sitting for the last 5 years that I know of. This car was running before the storage period and will run again. The registration is not current since 2005 and might have penalties occurred for the duration from 2005 to now. This is a family owned car that used to belong to my uncle, who is not able to drive due his disability. I have been storing it in hopes to find the time and $$$ to restore it myself but have been unsuccessful. My loss can be your gain if you are looking for a project car, or in the process of restoring another car and need parts. Obviosly there are many issues to cover on what this car needs to get back on the road, so I reserve the right that if the description here after is not covering everything, I will not be responsible. I will do my best to give you an honest assesment and will be happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. What the car needs to be Road Ready: 1. Tires 2. Brakes, Wheel Cylenders, and Drums 3. Motor Mounts 4. Drivers Side Door Window Crank and Handle 5. New Carborator or possibly just the Accelarator Pump. 6. Fuel Pump, Filter, and Tank Flush 7. Change all Fluids (oil, transmission, brake,coolant, etc...) This car has the 260 cubic" V8 and an column shift (missing lever) automatic transmission. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the odometer mileage, but it reads 16,923 miles. The car was running less than a year ago but has carborator issues due to the gas getting too old. After draining the old gas and replacing new gas, I was able to drive it around the block and load it on an auto transport. Now the cosmetic issues: 1. The car was involved in an accident (notice picture of inner fender and front clip) on right front corner. 2. Rusting out floorboard behind drivers seat due to rear window seal failing. 3. Right rear fender and taillight bezel both damaged. 4. Needs bumpers replaced or straightened. 5. Steering wheel not secure. 6. Needs interior carpet, seats, door panels, and headliner. 7. Other minor dents on extiorior. 8. Paint, trim, weather seals, hubcaps, grill, lights etc.... Well as you can see, there is much needed such as a complete restore!
