This car was originally from Massachusetts and worked on, coincidentally, by my father who was a mechanic at Gaston Andre at the time. The original owner was very meticulous in taking care of the car, and it shows. My father and I moved to Vermont 7 years ago and later found that the Alfetta was sold to somebody who was in Vermont as well. We bought it with a blown head gasket and needing a clutch and brakes. Since completing that work (about 2 years ago) the car has been a daily driver, only in summer months. The odometer stopped working at 74k miles. I would guess there's around 125k miles on the car. There is some rust around the driver's side tail-light. We have a replacement panel that could be welded in place to clean it up (it never really bothered me that much). Other than that, and a couple small spots, the car is rust free. The interior is clean. The stitching on the front seats is beginning to separate at the seams. A CD player and better quality speakers were installed last year. We have also replaced the water pump, starter and tires within the last year. Sadly I'm moving and won't be able to take this Italian classic with me. The car is located in Burlington, Vermont.
