Up for bids, I have this 1995 GMC G3500 6.5 Liter Diesel Extended 1 Ton Cargo Van. This van was originally a 15 passenger Rally Wagon.I purchased this van 7 &1/2 years ago thru e-bay from the city of Brooklyn N.Y. street dept.It had low mileage then and still does,only 89,900. This van has served me well over the years using it mostly to haul tables and merchandise to a local flea market here.It does have alot of issues, mostly body work, I will describe as best as I can. 6.5 liter disel engine fires up first turn of the key and runs great.The transm- ission is the heavy duty GM 4L80E, shifts very smooth, I kept it serviced as well as the engine oil changed no issues here.This was a 15 pe- rson passenger van when I got it but I took all the seats out and no longer have them.I have used this as a cargo van.The 2 side doors are in rough condition and will need repaired or replaced due to rust.The rocker panels are rusting bad as well.The front doors are in alot better shape,back doors are pretty banged up too. All doors do open and stay shut.The floor is very solid and can hold anything you can fit into it.The passenger and back doors do not have carpet panels.The windshield wipers do not work, will need a replacement wiper motor install -ed.Carpet also missing on doghouse cover.The passenger mirror is missing a small piece of glass and also the driver door handle inside is gone.The radio,horn,heater,turn signals and lights all work fine.1 metal patch in rear top roof of van. approx. 14" by 14" where fan unit used to be.,no leaks. I had the entire front end rebuilt completely 3 years ago. The parts alone were over 800.00. no steering or alignment issues.Bra- kes are still good. Teshonka Sentinal trailer brake box wired to back, 7 way plug at hitch.Exhaust is solid, with no holes or leaks and will last for years. The tires are in good shape with plenty of miles left.Heavy duty 4 core radiator and transmisson cooler installed 3 years ago along with a new set of glow plugs also at that time. Very long wheelbase 18'6" bumper to bumper.If you happen to need a great 6.5 engine and transmission here it is, however this is a running work horse that still has plenty of use and milage left in itThis van can be completely loaded with a full trailer and drive up hill and NOT overheat.Any questions feel free to e-mail me I can give you my cell # and we can talk.
