For sale is my 1974 MG Midget. This is the rare and beloved round rear wheel arch model that was made only a couple of years. It has 45,000 miles on it. The engine was freshened up last winter with reground cam, lifters, timing chain, seals and a valve job. It runs strong with very good oil pressure 60 psi hot at idle and 75 hot at speed. The transmission was rebuilt by local MG shop and work good. Rebuilt front and rear suspension with new A arms in front with new king pins, poly bushings. New polyuerthane bushings in the rear with new springs. It has new old stock distributor 43D4 with pertronix electrinic ignition and coil. It has new soft top that has zip out rear window. Included is tonneau and top boot in very good condition. The interior is also very nice 7+ out of 10 and exterior is same. This is a very nice driver quality MG. Tires are almost new as well as muffler, battery, alternator and other items I'm not thinking of at the moment.This car has no rust and is very solid. The only known problem is the fuel gauge is inaccurate. It has new sending unit and solid state voltage stabilizer. 1/4 tank = empty. It has other upgrades like led courtesy lights in both footwells the zip out rear window in the soft top. I have a smoothline hardtop included but needs work. Buyer is responsibe for pick-up.
