I have a beautiful 65 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2. A gentleman bought this car in 1970 after he came out of the Navy. He owned this car from 1970 until a couple of years ago. It has been recently restored. It has a 289 engine that came out of a 65 Mustang, but it is not a numbers matching engine. The engine has less than 500 miles on it since it has been rebuilt. The air conditioning is also period correct. It also came out of a 65 Mustang, and it blows cold. Some of the new parts on the car include: 1. New Paint 2. Many new exterior trim pieces 3. New Interior 4. Battery 5. Water Pump 6. Starter 7. Regulator 8. Alternator 9. Power Steering Pump 10. Brake System I will also include with this auction the original type air cleaner, valve covers, pc valve and pc hose. The car looks great with the chrome dress up kit on it, but you will have these if you want it to have the original appearance. I will also include a set of white Shelby Lemans Stripes with it if you want to put them on. I am not sure if it looks better without them or with them on.
