Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 1968 RS Camaro 3 speed on the floor (hertz shift) 250 Strait Six (rare) Vin on the block. I am relisting it at a reduced price for the older gentleman across the street. It was his wife's (who has been deceased now for 7 yrs) car. They bought this car brand new on March 30, 1968. She was the original and only owner. It has been stored under a canvas carport and has not been driven except when he licensed it and took it out for a test drive to make sure it still ran. He drove it to Midas the other day and had it flushed out. This is an excellent restoration project inwhich he has all the parts to do so. It is a real solid car and would make someone a mint restored car. This car has: * All matching numbers * Original Bill of Sale & Title * Original Owners Manual * New tires, brakes, master cylinder * New am/fm radio & speakers in box (have original if you want it) * New wheel covers (bought 30 years ago still in box) * New dash still in box * New trunk bottom in box * New Spare Tire w/original jack * New gas tank & sender (have old one if you want it) * New alternator * And lots more. There is no A/C. The exterior is teal blue & needs to be repainted. There is surface rust only, nothing to where you can put your finger through. The rust that you see in the pictures was mainly caused by moisture from the tarp that he had covering it. Interior needs new headliner, seat covers replaced or repaired, They are blue vinyl seats. There is also 2 tiny dents (see pics). This 1968 Camaro is being so as is. I have tried to capture all imperfections on this car. Bidder is responsible for all shipping & transportation costs. A deposit of $500 thru Paypal is required within 3 days of auction close. The remainder of payment is required when vehicle is picked up. The car must be picked up within 7 days of auction close unless prior arrangements have been made through the owner. I need to have you direct all questions to gentleman who owns the car at orier2@comcast.net He knows everything about this car. Thanks for Looking!
