1983 Honda Shadow

There is no reserve, it will go to the highest bidder or the first person to choose Buy It Now. This is an extremely hard to find low original milage 1983 Honda Shadow VT750C. It was offered in two colors and this is the black one. It has all original parts and is in near excellent condition considering it is a collector. 83 was the first year the Shadow was built. It has only 10,972 original miles, (I have driven it a few times since the picture and have put about 150 more miles on it). I have a copy of the original title from the original owner. I bought it in March from the original owner who bought it new in 1983. It was a Minnesota bike until I moved here in May. If you are not aware the bike season in MN is very short and bikes are stored for over 1/2 of the year. It runs good but does need a tune up for the lower elevation, it starts a little hard when it is warmed up. The rubber is original and still has life left in them but do have some weather cracks so they will need to be replaced long before they wear out. I currently have a velcro iPhone holder on the gas tank that is just held on with sticky velcro that can easily be removed it you do not have a need for it. It has the original plastic, mirrors, seats and paint job. The gas tank has a couple of scuffs in it but should be able to be buffed out. There is one tiny chip on the left side of the gas tank that is hard to find and the only one I can find on the bike. The Crome is in excellent condition with the exception of the back of each exhaust pipe that has a small rust spot, I have the original full size pictures and I can email you them to be able to see more details if you like. It rides great and is a great size for being maneuverable in traffic yet is big enough to comfortably carry 2 people. If you look at the other bikes at this price range they are newer but with a ton more miles. I had a 1,100 shadow a few years ago that was new and I prefer the early 80's classic bikes much better, they are quitter and sound less like a Harley. I am selling it because I just moved to FL and thought I could drive it every day, (I did not realize it rained at least once almost every day :)) I did not bring my truck here when I moved here and need to buy a car here so the bike has to go for now. I also have the original owners manual, sales brochure, toolkit and Clymer service manual. Please let me know if you have any questions.
