This a well maintained, California car (sold April 25, 1966 Landy Motors, Alameda, CA) in original condition. This 1966 Town Landau Coupe has not been restored (it has not needed restoring) with the following features 390cu in V-8, 335HP, factory AC, power brakes with front Disc Brakes, swing away steering column,power locks, power windows including vent windows, all leather interior, factory steel fender skirts.The actual verifiable mileage is 25,766 ( copies of the title tranfers show history of mileage) The new car owners manual, Ford's 1966 Advertising Brochure, original window price sheet, T-Bird shop manual and wiring manual are included. The car has not been exposed to winter salt during my ownership, prior owners were in CA and Arizona. there is absolutely no body rust in the doors, trunk, front or rear quarter panels. The car has been upgraded mechanically including: fuel system: gas tank with rust removed, installed new galvanized steel tank, new electric fuel pump, new steel fuel line from tank to carburetor, new fuel filter system, new pressure regulator and new Eldebrock carburetor installed. Ignition system: New electronic magnetic induction ignition, new 40,000 volt coil, new stainless steel plug wires installed. Electrical : Replaced orig voltage regulator with new solid state voltage regulator,new alternator installed, new solid state sequential turn signal motor (for rear lights), washer pump motor, window motor both drivers & passenger. Exhaust System: replaced all pipes and mufflers forward of the resonators including crossover pipe. pipes are painted with ceramic paint. AC System: removed old R12 York compressor, replaced with new HD rotary Seltec compressor and adapter kit, change system to 134A gas, replaced dryer, thermo-coupling, hoses, belts. Heating System: Rebuilt & replaced original core with exact duplicate copper core, replaced heater control valve, thermostat, hoses, radiator cap. Vacuum: All vacuum system reconnected tested, hoses replaced, emergency brake release, power door locks, rear window vent all in working order. California Pollution System; Replaced old worn out pre-formed pressure hoses with custom made hoses connecting the exhaust air pump to the anti-backfire valves. Other: replaced rubber door stripping seals. All removed original parts(york AC, Holley carb, mech. sequential turn signal motor, original gas tank) have been kept and are included. Some extra parts are also include: new power steer pump, 3 radios- 1 working , plug wire set, fuses. Items needing attention and or repair: There are small rust spots under the vinyl top (see pictures). The vinyl top will need to be replaced and rust spots cleaned up. The driver seat bottom is split (see picture) and should be recovered. Both front seats need foam cushioning replaced. The car's paint is showing it age and fading in spots. A new paint job will really bring out the beauty in this car. The carpets are serviceable, but if you do the seats do the carpets. Minor Stuff-The cigarette lighter does not work. The car needs to driven on a regular basis to avoid glitches such as power windows sticking.
