I am relisting this item because after being sold to one, Troy Vickers of West Virginia, (a.k.a. tdaj473) I still have the truck; but no money… He has apparently decided to weasel out of his obligation, and the contract he entered into by bidding on and winning my truck, by taking the coward’s way out. My phone calls are being sent directly to voicemail and messages have gone unreturned for the better part of a week now. Needless to say, I am more than annoyed that after refusing a down payment offered by Mr. Vickers (me believing in the good and honest nature of people) and even going out of my way to offer a shipping solution that would save him time and money, he has completely hung me out to dry. Because of his actions I have now spent my time and money to sell this item on eBay, lost other potential buyers and must begin all over again; not to mention losing out on an opportunity that this sale was going to fund! Please don’t be like Troy Vickers. I am a standup guy and have been doing business face to face, over the phone and online for over a decade. If there is a problem we can easily work around any situation using simple communication skills we all learned in school. Thank you for your time and please continue reading for the full item description. Up for sale is a 1995 GMC 1500 SLT Stepside 2WD pickup. This truck has the factory upgraded 5.7 liter engine and automatic transmission with tow package! This was an original option ordered from the factory AND NOT AN ENGINE SWAP! eBay’s make and model search is WRONG! Feel free to research the VIN and pull a Carfax report to verify! Or simply decode the VIN here: www.decodethis.com No leaks, no misses, no knocks and doesn’t burn any fluids! Runs beautifully and smooth! Transmission shifts perfect! No slips or hard shifts. The brakes and tires are also in great shape. The interior is clean and worn less than expected. Carpets are pretty much stain free and in EXCELLENT condition. The LEATHER seats are in good shape; however, the driver’s side does have an area where the seam has separated. (see pictures) Power windows, power locks and power seats all work perfectly!!! Truck also includes a keyless entry key fob and 2 keys! The Black paint is still shiny and glossy and shows well. There are various paint chips and light scratches but EXCELLENT for year, mileage AND being the original paint. There is a pushed in dent on the lower driver’s door. Not creased, so it can be push out if you take off the door panel. (a kid hit it with his bike) *The A/C requires a compressor to work. (There’s one advertised on Craigslist for $55 or $160 NEW) It was removed when it froze up and has a bypass pulley installed now, so it will be a simple bolt on procedure. I even have the bolts in a plastic bag in the console for your convenience. *There IS an exhaust leak where the pipes connect and just needs to be repaired with a cuff. (Not leaking from the manifold, just a pipe connection) The only rust is on rear bottom corner of the cab on the passenger side. This corner has rusted out, but can be repaired with a sheet metal patch by any body shop. High miles but looks good and runs GREAT!!! The steering is nice and tight with no play and so is all the front linkage. The universal joints and rear end are nice and tight with VERY little wear and again, no play in the system. All electronics work including AM/FM radio and factory CD and cassette player. Dash and door panels are not cracked or beat up. The bed does not have a bed liner but is in great shape with only spots where the paint has been rubbed. This truck has a hitch and removable ball connection (all included) and with the powerful 5.7 liter V8 and top notch tranny, will easily haul your load. For a 15 year old truck, this vehicle has been well maintained and is in GREAT shape. Turn the key and it fires right up without hesitation and is ready for work or play! No project vehicle here, just turn the key and go. All door seals are free of rust and have good rubber seals all the way around. The windows seal tight and do not leak and the rear fold out windows in the back work perfectly! The doors even close with a solid “thud”, rather than a clank and rattle! This truck has tint all the way around and the rear jump seats are immaculate! I even have the original owner’s manual still in the glove box! All gauges are in working order as well. If the shipping company is local to me, I would even be willing to drop the truck off at the hub for you if it is near me and might save you a little money. The vehicle is on private property behind locked gates and access is not always available. So again, please give me time to clear my schedule and make arrangements. I am, of course, willing to accommodate; just let me know ahead of time. The absolute best and preferred payment method is cash! I will also accept a certified bank check or even a personal check if it is drawn on a local bank that operates in South Florida. THIS VEHICLE AND ITS TITLE WILL NOT LEAVE MY HANDS UNTIL I HAVE SECURED PAYMENT IN FULL AND ANY CHECKS HAVE CLEARED ALL BANKS AND I HAVE LIQUID FUNDS IN MY HANDS!
