This 1988 Volvo 240 is in amazing condition,,it was bought new in Tampa Florida and has been here ever since,,it was a senior citizen owned car with really low miles,,the elderly lady that had the car was a non-smoker,,the son got it after she passed away,and its been in moth balls for the last 4 years,,we have gone completely through the car from the gas tank forward,,its just had a recoated tank,,new fuel pumps and filters,,new fuel pump relay,,transmission flush,,brake flush,,oil service,,new belts and hoses,,and the a/c has been converted to R-134 freon,,the timing belt was redone at 76K miles as well,,it runs like a dream! it shifts real smooth,,it handles very well and goes down the road nice and straight,,all the power equipment works well,,the a/c is nice and cold,,this car has no mechanical issues or fluid leaks,,it has a good vehicle history report too! the report shows a fender bender way back in 1992,there was no damage to this car,and it still has all the original parts on the car,, you just dont see these cars in this nice of condition much anymore,,the paint is all original,,its a seafoam green metallic/sliver look,,it has no rust,no damage,no dents,,and 1 small scratch on the front of the hood,as well as a small door ding on the drivers door,,thats it! all of the chrome and rubber trim look good,,the matching radial tires have about 75% tread life left,,the trunk is Spotless,,so is the engine compartment,,and it free of any leaks,,it comes with a real nice shine and finish,,the tan cloth interior is in exceptional condition for a 1988 car,,the color of this interior is consistent through out,,my photos,or the lighting show different shades,,the rear seat photo with the armrest down and the drivers door panel are the color of the whole interior,,sorry for the photo shading,,1 very tiny crack in the dash,,the carpets are excellent,,the headliner is in great condition,,the cloth seats are still in like new condition,,the door panels are in great condition,,a few small cracks in the pass/front door map pocket,,and a plastic trim piece behind the pass/side door lever is cracked,,the power antenna still works,,the factory radio has some crackling noise and a weak signal,,on a scale of 1-10, i would give this car a very strong 9,,its ready for a long road trip too,,we are a licenced dealer here in florida and we are only 20 min.from Tampa airport,,fly down and drive it home,,we can help arrange shipping too,,all vehicles are sold as-is,,there is a $149.charge to the winning bidder to cover all paperwork,title transfer and 30 day temp.tag if needed,,any questions,please email us at dgrimmautos@yahoo.com or call Doug at 727-430-1121,,good luck bidding on this car,the next owner will be very pleased,,please visit our other volvo auctions on ebay......
