Super classic 1967 Mercedes Benz 200 Series sedan. This is the much sought after W110 with the nearly-bulletproof 2.3L 6 cyl engine, with dual Zenith Carbuterors, and the hard-to-find factory floor-mounted 4 spd! 136K ORIGINAL miles. Two owners, second owner since 1980. Extensive records since 1983, including a complete $3500 top-end rebuild in 2006, all new rear shocks and bearings installed in 2007 and recently ( July 2010) all-new shifter and linkage bushings. The Benz starts and drives well. The engine idles and runs the way they are supposed to, with no miss, knocks, roughness or any other issues. It has no leaks, and it does NOT use oil or leak any water. It NEVER smokes, cold or hot. It will actually drive in the freeway at @ 70 MPH with no problems. Extensive service and repair records for the usual: brakes, tires, starter, alternator, water pump, battery, etc. The body is fairly straight for a 43 years young W110. Solid chassis, panels, trunk floor, undercarriage, enginer bay, hood, doors and sills. A little bubbling as pictured which would be attended to anyway if you'd restore the car; otherwise. drive it as it is as it still looks good. The car was refinished about 20 years ago in the original color. It has always been ivory. All chrome, trim and accessories are present. The interior is in rather good shape for its age. The seats are in great shape for being still the original Tex-tan leatherette. Rare black color. the hardest part to get, a MINT, perfect dash! Very straight W110, with NICE interior. PERFECT dash with is hard to find. Clear California title ( an EARLY original small "pink slip" title), with blue plates, and currently registered until 2011.
