Vehicle Detail
This car is solid, with original floors, original trunk floors, original undercarriage.. No work was ever done to the undercarriage. It is in good shape. This is the original color, but it was painted about 10 years ago. The interior was done about 10 years ago too, but it will need a carpet. The top was destroyed by racoons and now needs to be replaced again. The engine is the original six cylinder 250 engine, with an automatic power glide transmission. The engine has 67,000 original miles. The engine and transmission run as they should. I have put a brand new exhaust professionally installed and is exactly how it was when the car was new. There is a 3 core radiator with electric fans, but I have the original fan blade for the car. The a/c compressor is on the engine, but I still have to put on the underdash a/c unit. This will come with the car. The car is simple, no power steering, brakes, or top. It is very fun to drive. I have compliments everywhere I go. The tires are in good condition. This is a running and driving car, and I am currently driving the car to school. Please do not bid unless you are serious about buying. I will like an email with your phone number, 12 hours after the auction close. I would like a 20% non refundable deposit within 24 hours after the auction closes, and the balance within seven days. You are welcome to come over and look at the car, but please, no inspections after you have won the auction. After you have won, you are buying the car.On Sep-09-10 at 05:20:27 PDT, seller added the following information: As written in the above description, the floors are original, as is the engine compartment and the trunk floors, no work has ever been done in this area, nor needs to be done. The car had work done to it back in 2000 where the only rust was at the rear valance, front valence, and a bit on the front lower quarter panel. They repaired this area. Now, there seems to be some bubbling at the front lower quarter panel, where it was repaired 10 years ago. The quarter panels, fenders, doors, trunk deck, front and rear valence, bumpers, engine, transmission, glass, floors are all original to this car, and I feel in very good shape. The hood was replaced 10 years ago, the interior redone 10 years ago. The material top 10 years ago. It does have the original miles on the car. Also, there was a trunk rack on the deck, which I removed. I believe that I still have it, it is in good condition, and if I can find it, will go with the car. I believe this to be rare, as I have not seen many camaro's with a trunk rack. I encourage anyone to come over and look at the car. It is a very solid, and original car for all the years that it has.
