1973 Plymouth Duster 340 A True Original 340 Car in the correct FE5 Bright Red While this may not be a total show car, it is well above average for a driver car, having the looks, performance, and drivability that most desire. This is a Turn Key, Muscle looking, Classic Mopar that you can hop in and Drive. You know how once in a while you find a car that is comfortable to drive, and that you would trust to drive just about anywhere; well that is what I found in this car. It is just a fun car to drive with the power, sound, and handling to match. Details: The body on this car is very solid, and paint is very, very nice, both having some imperfections, but extremely presentable as it stands. The underside of the car is also very solid, but was heavily undercoated years ago. I am not sure where the car originated from, but I know that it came out of Florida not too long before I purchased it. The motor in this car is a 1973 340ci engine; and I have been told that it is not original to the car, but I have not confirmed that. This 340 runs very strong, having a healthy cam that comes to life on the low end of the RPM range. Most of the chrome on this car is very nice; however the bumpers and door mirrors are showing their age. There is one known issue at this time; the power steering started leaking about two weeks ago, not severe, but definitely noticeable. I intend to have my mechanic look at it, and if possible, have it repaired before delivery. There have been several updates made to the car over the past year and half to ensure its reliability, or enhance the overall appearance; these include the following: 1) Exhaust System 2) Complete Brake job 3) Tires 4) U Joints 5) Distributor & Electronic Ignition System 6) Plugs & Wires 7) Alternator 8) Fuel Pump 9) Edlebrock 600cfm Carb 10) Edlebrock Performer Intake 11) Power Brake Booster & Master Cylinder 12) Restored Heater Box, with new Heater Core & Blower Motor 13) New Radiator, Hoses, Clamps & Belts 14) 14) Mopar Performance Valve Covers - I have the originals, and they are included with the sale of the car.
