1964 Chevy II Nova Gasser Ok Gasser nuts here you go. Barn Fresh 64 Chevy II gasser straight axle. We cant keep them all, NEED cash for a 64 AFX comet were in the middle of, so this one has to go. Front axle appears to be out of chevy pick up, with 54 car drums, which was period correct to get car lug pattern. Wheels have a little rust on them but useable, slicks are good. Rearend is a big 10 bolt with a spool or welded up gears, (have not had the cover off to check) Trunk floor is sheetmetal and looks good. Floor pans have patches on top of patches, but all is welded in and sealed. No rust holes. Doors have lexan window, all others are still glass. Windshield has a crack on right side. Rockers appear to be solid. Steering feels good. The dash is intact and hasn t been hacked up. Old school automatic shifter is cool. Car does have factory clutch and small brake pedal in it. V8 fenderwell headers are homemade (someone elses home) and welds are rough but appear to be solid. The previous owner installed a 4.3 v6, and 700 r4 transmission with wiring harness. Its supposed to be good and it comes with the car. Guess it would make a good driver with that, or used for another project of your own. All the history we know is that on the side of it on the 1/4 panels it said DRYDEN SERVICE CENTER. It also looks like a 1/8 mile dial in on the lexan. There were 2 1/8 mile tracks in that area. Big Als Dragway.....Cobern dragstrip. Both old dragways. If anyone know anything about it let us know............... Have registration and title on the way. We are going to sell this car.
