2001 Volkswagen Golf Gti. I bought the car two years ago as an extra car and winter driver. Comes with a set of 15" wheels and snow tires. Runs good, gets great gas mileage (almost 30mpg average!). I replaced and fixed quite a few things when I bought the car (over $3K invested) New parts & work in the last year: Brake pads and rotors front and rear, new front strut upper mounts, new tie rods, new clutch and flywheel, front wheel bearings. The stock exhaust had a leak so I replaced the downpipe with an aftermarket stainless steel downpipe & High flow cat, and also the cat-back is a stainless steel 2.5" exhaust system. Slightly louder than stock but not obtrusive. As far as modifications go the only other thing the car has is a cold air intake, boost gauge, and Forge diverter valve (both were on the car when I bought it). The exterior of the car is a little rough, the paint is needs some TLC and there are a few rust spots starting to show around the front fender lip and below the doors. The interior is in decent shape but it's not showroom clean. As far as mechanical things go, the only thing that is wrong is that the A/C doesn't work. I haven't investigated it since I've driven the car mostly in the winter but it might just need a recharge. On the interior the button on the drivers door for the passenger window isn't working, although the button for the window on the passenger side works fine. It'll make a great affordable daily driver or project car for someone wanting to do more modifications.
