Vehicle Detail

Car is in good physical shape, no damage to outside some wear on inside (needs some minor cosmetic work on inside and outside) Minor dents if any... Minor scratches This is a 1996 Z34 Chevy Monte Carlo. We are selling this as is because the timing belt is chewed up a bit and it wont start. The mechanic says it needs a new belt but can not be certain if there was any damage to the engine when it slipped. The car revs but doesnt turn over. There is NO abnormal engine noise and it could be as simple as a timing belt to get this car started. Before the issue the car was running great, we had just put in about $3000 of work to the car in the previous month. This $3000 was for a new water pump, stopping oil and coolant leaks, and a full tuneup with plugs and wires. Fuel injectors are in good working order It has Brand new dual exhaust (was just put in days before engine issue) Fairly new tires with good tread Brand new Water Pump Brand new Spark plugs and wires Fairly new serpentine belt Does not leak ANY Fluids (all this was just fixed) Leather seats are in good condition. As far as I know the only issues with this car are as follows Engine wont turn over Air conditioning works but leaks (I recharged it, it ran great for about 30 mins and then all leaked out) minor restiching on seam of back seat (not ripped just needs restiching) little bit of chipped paint mostly on rear of car. Slight rusting undernear drivers floor mat Knob is missing on stereo some of the panels need to be screwed back in (nothing major) I have just recently put in $3000 into repairing this car and having it run great, I had spent $2500-$3000 before that in brake work, belts and tires. My wife will not allow me to put in anymore money into this car even though it might be as simple as a timing belt to get it running. This car was towed to mechanic so I didnt have any time to clean it before I took the pictures (it needs a vacuuming) On Oct-04-10 at 19:37:07 PDT, seller added the following information:To be clear, there is no (major) Physical Damage to outside (just a few scratches minor dents paint chipping), Has engine issue as timing Belt is frayed. Sold "As Is" at this stage as the car does not start up. Vehicle Passed Emissions This Summer (2010) Although this is does not show up in vehicle report.
