Nice little 1965 Volvo P-1800 coupe. Drives very well, overdrive works, runs cool, no smoke, great oil pressure, etc. Very straight body and a Calif. car since new.(check out the picture of the dash driving through the country and on the freeway) The 2nd owner moved out of the Country. He did not choose to have the car shipped, but it is obvious that he loved the car. I am an old Volvo fan, with several Volvo's (and Studebakers). So as soon as this car went up for sale I started getting calls from friends that new I was addicted. I decided to buy and drive for a while and pass on to another fanatic like me. This car is too nice and well maintained to park outside continuously. I have several cars "under cover", but would need to build another shelter to store this one. You know you can't drive them all if you have a few.So that is why the car is being sold. The paint is a repaint that is at least 10 years old, but it is the only time it's been repainted and it is the original color. It is very acceptable the way it is, but has the usual little scratches and flaws, but not bad for a 45 year old. The interior will need attention mainly because of our hot dry climate, dash cracks and back seat top. But the saving grace is that all parts, inside and out are readily available. I "Googled" P-1800 Parts and came up with pages of supliers from around the world. THESE ARE POPULAR CARS There was a T.V. show where one of the stars was a P-1800. It was called "The Saint", back in the 60's.I am putting on a bunch of pictures. But if you want specific other pictures, just let me know. The sun just went down or I would have shown pictures under the hood. I'll do that tomorrow. The car is a driver, super dependable and cruises the freeway with the best of them. I do, however, need to sell it As -Is, as it is a old car. But dounble dare me and I'll drive it anywhere, with expenses paid of course. Or you can. Plus all the rubber to go around the rear and side windows. Plus a whole box of parts including a set of gauges including a speedo, tach, and other gauges.
