Up for sale is my No Reserve 1984 2 door VW 5 speed diesel Rabbit, it has been my restoration project over the past two years. This car had zero rust which has made it a great restoration project. I had over $7K in the restoration before I quit adding up the receipts. New items: Paint job and decals, Interstate battery, glow plugs, fuel filter, radiator hoses, thermostat, water pump, brakes, rotors, drums, timing belt & tensioner, 5 new Michelin tires, windshield, exterior mirrors, headliner, front struts and rear shocks, wheel alignment, sun visors, injectors, wheel bearings, powder coated engine covers, re-sealed injector pump, valve adjustment, new tail lights, clutch cable, block heater, shifter linkage and more. The original engine was replaced at some point with a lower mileage engine, the engine compression tested very good good so I did not re-build the motor. I did however do a valve adjustment. The good: Looks, starts, runs and drives excellent Exterior 9 out of 10 The bad: Interior needs to be finished AC was removed at some point, I have most parts needed to re-install Some small door dings, they don't show well in pictures Windshield washer pump not working Interior 7 out of 10 I have more pictures that I can e-mail, also I can e-mail a video of me starting the car or driving, whatever you would like to see.
