stanleyandsons Store Where can I begin,the vehicle came from a charity auction 9 months ago and I waited for the title,and waited,and waited, the title arrived and it was SALVAGE California,anyway I lost intrest in the car,and will not by from the charity unless the title is in hand.the car itself is not bad and can be used for parts or in your state put back on the road as a rebuilt.About the car the fuel was drained and fresh gas installed, it started up and runs smooth,the oil was clean,and has coolant,there are hardly any brakes the resevoirs leak.the clutch works great,I drove it about a mile and the odometer does not work,the drivers window goes up and down very slowly and uses a little help by pulling and pushing,the oil gauge/gas gauge do not work,it says A/C but It has no compressor,the glove box door is ajar and missing or broke on the left side so it sits crooked.turn signals barely blink,the seats are in decent shape along with the rest of the inside.the car was originally silver,the red paint is old and the clear coat is fading,some of the spots is down to the base coat.the floor pans behind the seats on both sides need replacing from rust,I think it must be from the convertible top leaking towards the back,or it might be a common problem with these cars.the rest of the body fenders,doors,hood,trunk appear real good shape,the left quarter panel had some work done on it you can see some body filler at the belt line by the chrome,has some scratchs, the car does turn heads the way it looks,no broken glass or lenses,well I hope someone can use the car and my loss is your gain,the 500.00 is the starting price and it is a no reserve auction the highest bidder wins,it will drive up a trailer and I will assist loading,you can have 30 days to pick-up the car,the tires are dry rotted in case you want to dolly the vehicle but I can get tires if you need them this vehicle is sold AS-IS so please ask ???.thanx again Stan.youn can call me direct at 702-378-0400,if you leave a message repeat your phone # twice and very slowly I'm hard of hearing.
