***MECHANICS SPECIAL*** 1997 GMC SIERRA Z71 EXT. CAB 5.0L 305 VORTEC 4X4 Truck is a one owner WITH all recipts for work performed. The truck has NO rust or surface rust over the wheels or cab corners. Interior is in very good shape. The truck sat for 3 mths after the temp guage went to 3/4 and was shut off and towed home. Recently it has gotten all new engine gaskets which leads me to the bad ... There is a noise in the bottom end and metal flakes in the oil. I am unable to find an engine for this truck and am sure it spun the lower end bearings. I recently put a good amount of cash into the motor with having the gaskets replaced and both heads checked at the local machine shop. This truck would be perfect for someone that access to a good motor! The truck does run and drive but with the loss of power IT WILL NEED TOWED!
