Vehicle Detail
this is a 1964 catalina. it is in great original condition. the paint is extremely good. i would call this car no rust with exception of around the rear window the chrome was not removed when painted and it has a few bubbles near that chrome under the paint, this area was like this when i bought the car 8 yrs ago and its still the same no change, now that being said this car looks great and drove perfect when i drove it bout 3 months ago. it has obviously been garage kept all these yrs. it has pontiac rallys on it. it also has a 8 track player that works great. the interior is original, it has a small tare in one seat. under the hood looks great the underside of the hood is same color as car and is just as good looking. the trunk is in great condition with the spare tire and i think the jack is there also. no rust in any of the floor pans. so im told it has the original motor but the transmission has been changed to the later model 350 turbo. it has 93503 miles on it. i have the original window sticker and protecto plate. i also have some service records that came with the car up to 97. the car was bought new from King Zane motors in Greensboro NC.the original purchase price was 3614.87. oh well i hope someone will give this old classic a good home. my family has enjoyed it for the past 8 yrs. i actually held onto the car for so long because my 5 yr old son love the 8 track player and when i told him i was selling it he said daddy ill buy it i have money and later that night while i was sleeping he brought me his change jug and said daddy there is ur money for the car. lol well now he's older and understands so the car has gotta go. just 3 to 4 yrs ago this car would have brought much more than today. but it should still bring 7000 or so. good luck bidding
