This gorgeous 1989 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL was purchased as a replacement car for another slightly older version which was damaged in a collision. It will be for sale here on ebay and still runs well in spite of its rear end damage. My father who is 89 years old was so attached to this model that we located and subsequently purchased this example here, currently up for auction, to replace his beloved car. It is in impeccable condition on the outside. It's really amazing to see a car of this age looking as clean as this. It runs well although he has told me it does have some problem overheating and I suspect needs some attention to radiator or perhaps replacement thereof. He is currently being relocated to Palm Springs and will no longer be in need of his own car. Therefore, the car is being sold much to his chagrin. We have no choice.
