This is just about THE ULTIMATE Studebaker ever built, and is a true icon of the fabulous fifties. The car is absolutely stunning, and causes people to do a double take when you drive by.There are few cars that will cause such a stir in public.This car truely SHINES LIKE A STAR. ..THE STORY..... This is a 1958 Golden Hawk, one of only 878 made. I would be suprised if 100 still exist in running condition. IT is THE RARIST OF ALL GOLDEN HAWKS . Built from the factory with a 289 cubic inch Mc Culloch supercharged V8 engine producing 275 HP, with automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and Studebaker Twin-Traction rearend. (Posi-Traction). The Golden Hawk was the most luxurious, expensive and powerful member of the Hawk family. VEHICLE CONDITION: This is not a one owner vehicle. The odometer reading is accurate to the best of my knowledge. The body does not have a single door ding, and the paint is excellent. I have alway had this car garaged. The engine and supercharger were rebuilt a few hundred miles ago by previous owner. There are no known problems with the electrical system. All the guages work.The interior and exterior condition of this gorgeous car is very clean. This glorios Golden Hawk is a true animal when you kick the supercharger ti life.
