I literally bought this truck from a little old man in his 80’s. He needed an automatic that was easier on his knee. He kept hand written records of the things he had done to the truck. He told me that he had the oil changed every 1,000 miles. He was the second owner and bought it in 1986. He drove the truck here to Florida from Chicago many years ago. The truck has 225,400 miles and gets 40-45 mpg. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The clutch feels good. The shifter needs some bushings. The A/C is an aftermarket unit and needs a new compressor. Overall the body is clean and has very little rust. The structural areas are good. ie: strut towers, etc. There is some rust on the floors and some minor rust around the body. The truck was painted 2 or 3 years ago. There is a dent in the driver’s door that someone spray- painted over. The truck is red with tan interior and the seats are black cloth. This is a non-smoking vehicle. The engine vibrates due to the fact that the engine mounts are old. The belt squeals. The tires are good. It has a sliding back window. All glass is good. The topper locks with keys and has original ignition key and owners manual. Someone put caulking around the seam between the truck and the topper in an attempt to stop the topper from leaking into the bed of the truck. This is a very straight- forward truck and IF the bidding reaches $2,300, I will throw in an addition 5 speed transaxle. (I bought this as an upgrade for future use).
